Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the services offered by Remote Notary Connect. By scheduling an appointment or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Remote Notary Connect provides remote online notary (RON) services performed by a commissioned Notary Public and Certified Remote Online Notary. Our services are limited to verifying identities and witnessing signatures. We do not provide legal advice, legal representation, or interpretation of document contents.
A deposit of $25.00 is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. This deposit will be applied toward the total cost of the service upon completion. Your appointment is not confirmed until the deposit is received. Please review our Cancellation & Refund Policy for details.
You are required to present a valid, government-issued photo ID during your session. Remote Notary Connect reserves the right to refuse service if identity cannot be adequately verified or if there is any suspicion of fraud or misrepresentation.
Remote Notary Connect is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Nothing in our communications or services constitutes legal counsel. You are encouraged to consult a licensed attorney for questions about the legal effect of any document.
Remote Notary Connect's liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific notarial act in question. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our services.
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of Illinois.
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

At Remote Notary Connect, we understand that plans can change. This policy outlines the guidelines for appointment deposits, cancellations, no-shows, and refunds.
When scheduling your notary appointment, a deposit of $25.00 is required to secure your desired time slot. The deposit will be deducted from the total cost of your notary service upon completion. The appointment will be confirmed once the deposit is received.

A "no-show" occurs when the signer fails to appear without prior notice, or cancels with less than 24 hours' notice. In these cases:
We understand that unforeseen circumstances can happen and aim to handle each situation with care.
All services rendered by Remote Notary Connect are non-refundable once completed. This includes notarizations or notarial acts that have been executed and finalized. Refunds will only be considered for payments made in advance for services not yet provided.
Refund requests must be submitted via email to scheduling@remotenotaryconnect.com within three (3) days of the original payment date. Please include your name, appointment date, and reason for the request. Refunds will be issued using the original payment method.
